What is ADSL?
ADSL is a broadband Internet access service that uses your existing phone line to deliver a high speed Internet connection, many times faster than a 56k modem. Technically speaker, your data traffic and normal telephone signals are split into different frequency ranges, allowing both to be transmitted over a normal copper telephone wire. This means that you can use you telephone or fax and access to the Internet at the same time.
What is Traditional ADSL?
Traditional ADSL is our name for the type of service available in the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan, where our Infrastructure provider (JTG) rents you, the subscriber the ADSL modem, and places a fixed fee on your phone bill. These charges vary according to the speed of your broadband connection, and are accessible from JTG's website.Bitstream ADSL is our name for the type of service available in the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan, where we Stream® rent the subscriber the ADSL modem, in so eliminating any charges being placed on your phone bill.
Our packages
Stream® has created three main package categories, allowing you the user to choose only the required value-added services, save cost and benefit from the convenience provided by our VCPE platform. All our packages are independent of the connection speed or type.
Common benefits
These are common benefits that are enjoyed by all packages.

Child Safe Internet*
This package allows you to browse the web, open applications such as MSN and Yahoo messenger, check your Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Gmail accounts and have controlled access to the Internet using our Content Filter. Any web content category or site can be allowed or blocked, and you are always in full control of network access. Parents at home will rest assured that the content that their kids are viewing is safe, and can be tailored by them to suite their child's needs. This is by far the safest unattended Internet access you can provide.
This package is only available to Home ADSL users as classified by JTG.
SafeNet
Are you a professional that frequently takes work home? Do you need to access your email via your favorite email client applications such as Microsoft Outlook? Do you have a SIP account for VoIP calls? Do you use applications at the office over Remote Desktop, or does your company provide you with a Citrix Metaframe client to connect to office applications from home? Then this package is for you. Allowing you to benefit from all the features provided by our Child Safe Internet package plus those mentioned above.
This package is only available to Home ADSL users as classified by JTG.
ProNet
Our ProNet package is tailored for our Corporate users. Having clean, safe, controlled Internet access at the work place is a requirement. Make sure that your staff are not using Microsoft Messenger, not spending most of their time on FaceBook or other non work essential sites. Our ProNet package allows you to enjoy Web Filtered Internet access, and with our Manageable Firewall, allow your site administrator to control access to various services that you may have within your organization such as a web server, email server, and any other TCP/UDP published service from your premises.
This package is available to Corporate ADSL users as classified by JTG.
